Winter in the South

We seemed to be experiencing a strange phenomenon here in the South. I believe the rest of the country calls it "winter". Classes have been canceled nearly all week, and I'm starting to go a little stir crazy. I did brave the cold and the ice yesterday to take a walk and snap some photos. I haven't seen weather like this since I lived up North.

There's no real infrastructure to deal with this sort of weather so the only thing to do is sit around and wait for it to melt. I'd like to say that I've been making the most of this unexpected free time, but I'm a terrible liar.
