Around Town

School is finally out and for the first time in years, I have no where to rush off to. I love summer, but I always find this adrift feeling a bit uncomfortable. Lacking a set studio space confines me to only what I can make in my small living space: sewing, embroidery, and paper goods. I spent two days last week making postcards.

I've also taken this new found freedom to resume my regular walks about town. The air is warm and irresistibly smells of jasmine. I can't help but want to be outside. I've already had a dozen mosquito bites as a result. There are flowers everywhere.
