Atlantic Beach and Beaufort

I spent a lovely Saturday visiting Atlantic Beach and also Beaufort. I can't believe I've lived here for five years and had never been to Beaufort. There were wild horses, just chillin' out, doing their horse thing, right on the other side of the inlet. I went to the maritime museum there, which has a bunch of stuff from Blackbeard's ship, The Queen Anne's Revenge. It was a day that included everything I love about Eastern NC, from the beach, to the Carolina blue skies, to a ride on one of the numerous ferries.
